Diastasis Recti Focused Class
Diastasis Recti is the separation of your six-pack muscles (rectus abdominis) during pregnancy. As the uterus grows to make space for your baby, the tissue between your abdominal muscles (linea alba) gets stretched and pulled apart. The separation often heals on its own in the months after birth, but some women may require additional help from a physio or women’s health expert.
This class is designed to strengthen the pelvic floor and deep core muscles without negatively impacting the separation.
If you are concerned you may have diastasis recti, please consult a women’s health physio.
